👋 Hey, this is Borges! Welcome to a ✨ free edition ✨ of my weekly newsletter.
Here, I discuss my journey in CFD, AI, Software Engineering, and Personal Development. Follow along, and let's learn and grow together!
Collaborative Learning Journal
I've recently been exploring Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and AI. This mix of fields has big potential for solving tough problems and pushing scientific knowledge forward. I'm excited to keep learning in this area, driven by a love for innovation and a goal to make a positive difference in the world.
Borges Notes is my learning journal, and I aim to co-create it with you, dear reader. Your questions and suggestions are vital for its success.
When I reflect on my career, I see that I had a challenging start, but I discovered a path that took me from humble beginnings to obtaining a PhD in Applied Mathematics and AI.
With the experience I have today, I see things could have been easier with the support of a helpful mentor. In the business world, success is often a result of collaboration and support, as few individuals can thrive entirely on their own. Many successful professionals credit their success to the advice and guidance provided by their mentors.
My goal in sharing this journal is to provide the mentorship that I once dreamt of having, extending the support I received from friends to those seeking guidance in both their personal and professional development.
Exploring CFD and AI together
During my self-learning adventures, I invested heavily in books, courses, and spent countless hours reading scientific articles. Much of my effort went into filtering what was worth learning from what was a waste of time.
So, over the last three decades, I've gained valuable insights, and now, I want to share pertinent information with you. Let's concentrate on what truly matters in CFD, AI, and Software Engineering. I believe I can assist you with something!
Each post in this newsletter will be concise and can be read in few minutes. My top priority is to ensure the content is of the highest quality. If you have any feedback on how I can improve the content, please leave a comment.
That’s all for today. Happy New Year!
Thanks for reading,
Marcos Borges
